There is an age old question. Are people mostly good or mostly bad? Is the human race trustworthy or dishonest? If given the opportunity could we resist the temptation to be immoral even if we knew our acts would not be witnessed? This question has plagued mankind for centuries, and for good reason. It is a question that has meaning to everyone because it affects each person in different ways. Most people are good deep down even if they dont know it.
In a survey of random students who were asked this question we were given a multitude of answers ranging from very immoral, dishonest, and self-serving to very moral, honest, and consciences. One student answered without a second thought hell yes if no one was watching and I was guaranteed to get away with it, of course I would. Another answered no way just because no one is watching doesnt make it okay. Then there were the students who took time to contemplate the question and gave answers like well it depends on the situation or yeah maybe in the past I would have but now I dont think I wo......
