Heckleman House
“Chandler, have you put the sleeping bags in the car yet?” Marie asked. It was Chandler, Marie, and Fran’s annual sleepover at the old Heckleman house. The story is that it’s supposed to be haunted, but every year they go nothing ever happens, but this year it’s about to change.
They say the Heckleman house was built in 1902 in the town of Yorkshire, England. Lubidious Heckleman was the master of the house. He married Maridee Louis and had one beautiful boy, Omar. They were living the life until, POW! A blinding flash of light pierced their eyes.
“What just happened, Lubidious?” asked Maridee.
“I’m…I’m not quite sure,” replied Lubidious. Outside everything was different. The sky was dark, and the air was as cold as ice.
“Where is Omar? I don’t like worrying about him.” Maridee said. She looked out onto the lake beside the house and in an old wooden boat sat Omar.
“Oh my gosh, could you be any slower,” shouted Fran, “it’s going to be midnight by the time we get there!”
“Sorry, Chandler had to find someone to feed his dog.Â......
