Pakistans former Prime Minister, Benazir Bhutto, was nearly killed by two bombs. Benazir Bhutto went into hiding about eight years ago. As she was welcomed back, the truck carrying her suddenly shook and rattled violently; two bombs had exploded near the truck! Someone tried to kill her, they failed, but one-hundred twenty-six civilians lives were taken, and two-hundred forty-eight were seriously maimed. It was the largest bomb attack in Pakistans history. The political history of Pakistan, in my opinion seems to be undergoing security problems considering their prime minister went into hiding for eight years. I believe having her be the first women prime minister in an Islamic nation is reasonable, since she has strong ambitions and swore to make Pakistan a better place by focusing on the health and education for the nation.
