Ratifying The Constitution Question: What were the major arguments used by each side (the supporters and the opponents) in the debates over the ratification of the U.S. Constitution? Answer: In 1787, the Constitution was formed to restore the Articles of Confederation, because it was felt that the Articles weren’t adequate enough for running the country. However, the Constitution was not very well liked by everyone. Several debated over the ratification of the U.S. constitution. Some of the individuals that agreed with the ratification of the Constitution were well taught theoretical people like George Washington. There were also others who had disagreed with the ratification of the U.S Constitution because they disagreed to what the Constitution had to offer to them. Therefore, this essay will further explain the concepts of the disagreement between those people who wanted to ratify the Constitution and also those who did not. Many individuals thought that if the thirteen states wanted to fully develop into a great nation, they had to join together in a Central government......
