Chernobyl nuclear power plant Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

The biggest accident in history took place on April 26, 1986, when an explosion destroyed Number Four Reactor at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. It left an area the size of New York State unsafe for humans to occupy and the city of 42,000 people was abandoned for the next 500 years.
