Kenneth Charles Marion Rexroth was born December 22, 1905 to Charles and Delia Rexroth. Throughout his childhood he was heavily burdened by his fathers alcoholism and his mothers chronic illness. Though he had a heavy burden to bare at such a young age, Rexroth was an intelligent child. His mother home schooled him and by age four he was reading extensively. Tragically when Rexroth was only eleven years old his mother died and just tow short years later his father passed away as well.
