Globalization.
Things that people consume as of everyday life do not realize that what they do use, affect their lives globally. They over look where such items are manufactured and assembled, which leads them to not realize how much the world in its entirety effects their everyday lives. Doing this project I realized that things that I need for my everyday routine are manufactured in Eastern countries, as well as things I use in everyday life (but some more sparingly) are manufactured in the United States of America.
Electronic goods that are used routinely, I found, are made in Eastern countries. Things such as my laptop and printer, which are used on a daily and repeated basis, were manufactured in Japan. These two things are very important in an electronically advanced era. And in the working/education world, they have been put under the necessity category. My curling iron, which is used everyday, was found to be manufactured in France. I would not categorize this in the same necessity category as the laptop and printer, but would possibly be in a need category......
