America the land of the free in which our forefathers granted to us truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. What good is this statement, though, if people are contradicting these blessed privileges today and are oppressing others based on ones gender and race? Gender and race are clearly dependent on oppression and attaining certain privileges, today.
