Fahrenheit 451 Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

In Ray Bradbury’s, Fahrenheit 451 Mildred Monatg is an unusual, depressed character. She is married to Guy Montag who is a very important character in the story. Mildred deals with many emotional issues, which cause her to overdose on pills, and sends her straight to the hospital. She deals with the stress of trying to fit into her society. Mildred is unhappy of the way she is leading her life, which causes her to overdose on pills. Mildred lives he life behind a mask and never really lets her true self come out. The relationship between Mildred and Guy Montag is truly affected because they are not certain of where their relationship is going and their true feelings of towards each other. Mildred Montag is a character that struggles to live her life blind to reality but according to the opinions of her society and the corrupted government she is forced to act like she is happy. The society that Mildred lives in greatly affects her as a person. There is so much government involvement and corruption.
