Pine
On the drive up to Pine, degrees drop as the car makes its way over the rocky mountains of the north. The car window's cool to the touch as pine trees become more and more frequent alongside the road. The ever-winding road and sharp curves make one question the integrity of the driver and the drivers that are coming from the other direction. As the car makes its way around curve after curve, the driver Is always worrying about what is around the next turn. The driver constantly watches the temperature gauges and nervously grips the steering wheel as the passengers glance out at the scenery. The hour and a half drive from the city is even more enjoyable just knowing that soon enough, you will arrive.
Driving through Payson is the final stretch before Pine. There is a McDonaldsÂ’, a Taco Bell, a Wal-Mart and other corporations to meet every one impersonal need.
