After the fact of Ms. Veronica Jones accident and medial care, known as the Triggering Event, she has decided to use her right of filing a lawsuit. This lawsuit will be brought upon Mr. Stanley Suds, known as the Defendant. To proceed with the case, a set of civil rules and procedures must be followed.
Veronica Jones must first file a complaint. This is known as the Informal Discovery, which means the court has no knowledge of this case between the Plaintiff and the Defendant. Ms. Jones must then hire a lawyer. The Lawyer may ask for extra time in order to assess the situation and the complaint. At this time the Lawyer has no commitment to Ms. Jones. After assessing the case at hand, the lawyer will give his views on the case and where or how far it may go. After this Ms. Jones can contract the lawyer and the Defendant is notified.
