Armed and Dangerous In Bill Queen’s, Armed and Dangerous: The Hunt for One of Americas Most Wanted Criminals Queen is an ATF field agent after a dangerous criminal Mark Stephens a.k.a the “mountain man”. Stephens is an extremely dangerous man who was terrorizing the San Bernardino area with a machine gun. Queen shows the reader his brashness and commitment as an ATF agent to eliminate public threats through his experiences in catching the survivalist, “mountain man”. He faced many obstacles including his adminners (bosses), the geographic location of Stephens, being outgunned, and the shear danger of a criminal who would not hesitate to shoot a cop where he stood. With all of these factors against him Queen only grows more dedicated to catching this criminal. At the beginning of the book Queen, takes us back to his Southern rural up-bringing in North Carolina. As Stephens is a survivalist, Queen emphasizes that as a child he too learned how to survive in nature. He also goes into his special forces training for Vietnam, almost trying to justify his wilderness ability creden......
