Sitting on the park¡¦s bench to use free wireless internet, I was trying to write a
letter to my counselor to let her know that I had already got the five hundred toffel score
to transfer to her college, Foothill College. It was such a difficult work because I had to
write it in a standard way. It must be clear but not too long, must have no mistake in
vocabulary and grammar, so she could acknowledge my progress in standard English. It
