Jesus Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report
No matter what your personal beliefs about him may be, with out a doubt, Jesus Christ was one of the most influecial people that ever lived. About 2000 years ago, his parents were traveling to Bethlehem to pay taxes. During this visit, Jesus was born.
If you believe the Bible's version of the man Jesus, he was born of a virgin and was the only begotten son of the one true God. He lived to be 33 years old. During that time, he performed many miracles, including raising the dead. He was put to death and raised himself in three days. He then ascended into heaven with the promise to return and take his followers with him.
My goal is not to convince you that Jesus is the son of God, or to make any religous statement. My focus will be on the lasting impact impact that this man had on social and political views throughout history and today.
