As we look forward to future growth of business, we have to address the outlook from a global perspective. As corporations grow world wide, it appears there are fewer boundaries or borders restricting the base of operations. ACME Motors is among those types of corporations and as such we have the opportunity to learn from how other corporations have dealt with inherent issues of conducting business globally.
One of the companies I would like to use as an example is British Petroleum (BP). Currently BP employees number over 96,000 worldwide, and are located in over 100 countries across six continents. The corporation is seeking to re-brand itself and emerge as a green corporation (Davis, 2006). While it is widely known BP is a petroleum based energy company, they also are one of the leading companies in solar energy research.
