Jazz Era Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Jazz is a type of music developed by black Americans starting in the 1900’s. It is in musical traditions of American blacks. More black musicians saw jazz for the first time a profession. Since its beginnings jazz has branched out into so many styles that no description fits all of them with total accuracy. People play jazz within the conventions of their own style. This gave jazz a personalized, individualized, and different style. Most jazz is based on an infinite number of melodies can fit the cord right for any cord. The twenties were an important period in the history of music. New styles created a new ideas and interests. By the late twenties, jazzes new style had grown a lot. It was the roaring twenties that a group of new styles entered the music, fixing the sound and the forms of our popular music for the next thirty years.
