Abortion is the question on everyones mind today. Is it right? Should it be legal or illegal? What does having an abortion do to a woman health wise? Is a fetus even considered a human being or just a blob of tissue? All excellent questions. It really comes down to pro-life or pro-choice. I consider myself to be a pro-life supporter. I truly think that abortion should not be legal. The first and most important reason abortion should be illegal is because its murder (infanticide). Some scientists and doctors claim that we are not human until we are viable, able to process thought or feeling. The common argument is that its just a fetus, its not even alive. The fact is that a fetus at eighteen days old already has a heartbeat and at forty-two days is producing brain waves and has reflexes. The baby is even sucking its thumb at seven-weeks old. After all, what else could it be but a baby? What are you growing in there? Strawberries? Its absolutely ridiculous! Another common argument is that since the fetus is merely a lump of tissue, removing it is not a big deal......
