The company I work for allows members to be organized and efficient. The secretarial duties are minimized thanks to the office automation and group collaboration software that the company offers. With these types of software, the company can facilitate, organize, and time manage with out any difficulties. But there may be certain advantages and disadvantages in using this software.
Office Automation
The company I work for uses a couple of different automation software application systems throughout the Financial Institution. The main software application would be a proprietary application called Episys. This application was created by a company called Symitar Systems and is used primarily in Financial Institutions. The base code of Episys is written in PL/I and the front end is a mixture of a couple of different languages but the main one is C++. The main methodology that was used was Microsoft foundation classes or (MFC).
