St. Augustine makes reference to this in his book The Confessions when he states, You have made us for yourself and our hearts are restless until they rest in you.(Confessions 3) What Saint Augustine meant by this is we can never fully complete until we have returned to The Father because it was in his image and likeness that we were made. This is because God is the be-all and end-all of everything and it is our constant drive to better ourselves or stay restless that drives us to return to Him.
