Racism in Capitol Punishment
White racism is widely believed to play a factor in capitol punishment cases. The U.S. charts and graphs in publications show what seem to be race-influenced decisions involving the death penalty. Based on research of both pro and anti opinions on and raw data, one can find that racism plays a role in the death penalty. Not to say that racism is entirely absent in the judicial system but the findings indicate that capitol punishment decisions as a whole are not race related.
Though not as blatantly violent as in the past, some racism can still be seen in courtrooms.
