Communication in Organizations 1.0 Introduction 1.1 Purpose The purpose of this report is to explore some of the barriers that reduce the efficient of communication. Communication influences many of the aspects in daily life, such as ¡®the hiring and training employees, motivation of employees, providing daily instructions, performance evaluations and the handling of discipline problems. Communication also affects the willingness of employees to provide useful suggestions¡¯. (Erven, n.d.). It is also used by management to direct and motivate employees and to evaluate their performance.
