Good afternoon fellow students, faculty and staff. I am a dedicated student who would like to do a farewell speech, therefore; today I stand before you all filled with gladness but sad as well. I am filled with gladness because I have attained my short term goal of completing the high school, but sad because I will be matriculating to college and will not be able to see my teachers� faces everyday in World History, English or Spanish. This past year I have learned so much about the value of making friends like all of you, my fellow classmates, and how important an education is. I am confident that I will go far in life just because I have been taught at this fine school.
