Modernism & how it has affected todays society
To start to understand the contemporary psyche we must first understand how past social movements have sculptured our present day psychology. This section of my essay aims to explain modernism and the enlightenment of the west, furthermore to describe its legacy and the effects its had sociably and psychologically. Many factors can affect an individual psychological framework but arguably the largest is the type of society they are raised in. Society today is said to be in neo-modernism or debatably post modernism period but for the previous couple of centuries western society has shifted through a modernistic movement.
