Prey Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report
Michael Crichtons Prey is a science fiction novel based on a series of events which have created an extremely dangerous situation in which, nanoparticles infected with E.coli have begun to evolve rapidly within hours. Unfortunately for humanity these nanoparticles are a new generation of danger and the main character, Jack Foreman, has been hired to fix this problem.
Jack Foreman is a middle aged man, who has 3 kids and a wife. Jack was a bioengineer at a company called MediaTronics but he was laid off and became a stay at home dad. The story starts off with Jack going through his daily routine which consisted of him caring for his kids. Jack has become worried that his wife, Julia may be having an affair on him. He has noticed radical changes in Julias schedule and behavior, he notices that she comes home late (or sometimes not at all) and she showers every night as soon as she gets home, which he found odd.
