Lady Macbeth - Changes In Attitude Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

To deteriorate ones character through a short period of fast decisions and unsure actions is perilous. William Shakespeare’s Lady Macbeth proves the truth to this theory. Her power-hunrgy tactics and unsure actions are what poisoned her journey throughout this play and which ultimately end in her death. She ends her own life after being overwhelmed of what is happening, both physically and mentally. Lady Macbeth in particular loses sight of rationality from the play’s beginning to end. An image of ruthlessness comes to mind in her ability to hide her emotions and how she believes that she can handle the intrusion of unearthly evil in her mind and soul. As macbeth becomes less dependent of his wife, she loses more control. She loses control of her husband, but mostly, of herself, proving her vacillating truth. Lady Macbeth’s character gradually disintegrates through three stages throughout the play, the first being the arrival of the king , the second after the murder of the king and the third stage at the hospital where she cannot get the ‘blood’ of her hands and she loses her s......
