United States Constitution Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

The United States Constitution is a topic that many Americans debate. The majority of us agree that the constitution is the right way the government should be. The debate is usually over how we interpret the document not on the overall idea of a government, “for the people, by the people.” It is generally agreed that our Constitution is one of the best written documents in the world. This essay will discuss the process of how the constitution was written and why the framers made some of the decisions that they made. There were many goals of the Constitution. The framers had to establish a government strong enough to meet the nations’ needs, not threaten the states’ existence, not threaten liberty, and be based on popular consent. (Thomas E.
