Between all different media, TV is probably one of the most effective ones. Since it was invented and until now, its changing peoples lives dramatically, whether in a positive or negative way. But it didnt affect people only but also other media like radio.
Most people used to listen to radio for news and entertainment either through music or live radio talk shows. But when TV showed in the 1920s people loved it because they didnt only listen to their favorite music and latest news but they got also to see them with their eyes. They were able to use their other senses too. At the beginning, few TVs only were available in households because they were expensive but by time this number increased because TV got cheaper and people were capable of buying them, but we cant say that they were that spread like nowadays, or used as much as today. The difference between yesterday and today was in the TV programs and number of broadcasting hours per day.
