This paper illustrates the importance to differentiate between a factual argument and a fallacious argument. Throughout history humanity has been bombarded with information and arguments from all types of media such newspapers, radio, TV and advertisement, etc. Some of those arguments are fallacious and one must learn to recognize them. This paper will define three logical fallacies and their significance to critical thinking and general application to decision making.
