Logical Fallacies Summary Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

This paper illustrates the importance to differentiate between a factual argument and a fallacious argument. Throughout history humanity has been bombarded with information and arguments from all types of media such newspapers, radio, TV and advertisement, etc. Some of those arguments are fallacious and one must learn to recognize them. This paper will define three logical fallacies and their significance to critical thinking and general application to decision making. Human beings are the only beings on earth who possess thinking abilities. However, human beings¡¦ reasoning is based in imprecise logic and emotions. Most of the human beliefs are acquired from misinformation and logical fallacies. For the most part a group of people or an individual some times tries to persuade others to think, see and act according to their idiosyncrasy for the benefit of the group or the benefit of an individual.
