The ruling Microsofts legal battle with Europes competition regulator will reach Europes second-highest court, Court of First Instance, in a judgement that could determine the future of antitrust policy in the technology sector, as well as the commercial and legal strategy of the U.S. software giants (Robinson, 2008).
