To improve its lack of competitive advantage, GC designed an aggressive a plan with the goal of becoming a leading global resource to its consumers. In developing this plan, GC also took the opportunity to find international resources that would help reduce labor costs; thus leading to the decision of outsourcing and provoking internal company layoffs that lead to ethical dilemmas.
