Han China and Ancient Rome Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

The organization characteristics of Ancient Rome and Han China have many similarities and differences. While they were totally different cultures, they still had the same way of doing certain things, while others were totally different. The Roman Empire and Han China were two of the biggest and most powerful empires of Ancient Europe and Asia. Yet, Han China lasted for 200 years, and Ancient Rome for 900 years, before they both collapsed. Ancient Rome and Han China were different in many ways. Religion, to start off with differed for both empires. The majority of people in Han China believed in Taoism and Confucianism. They believed they should live in naturalness, vitality, peace, nonviolence, spiritually, and ethically. They followed filial piety, and respected all elders, they believed in being loyal. Unlike the Romans, the Han Chinese had no belief in gods, instead they were more spiritual and their religion was based more on ethics and spirituality, where the Romans on the other hand, believed in many gods where each god had there own type of special power.
