The process of giving a tattoo is long and very important considering that this is permanent. You will begin with discussing the design of the tattoo with the client and make sure it is what they want. Once you have the design figured out and have the client fill out a waiver to show that they arent pregnant, drunk, or underage. This can be a pretty heavy lawsuit if taken to court. Redraw the design on a stencil that you will transfer on to the skin. You will either have to do the drawing in reverse or you can do the drawing on a carbon pad, which does not have you reverse the design. Cleaning the area of skin before you start is very important because you do not want the tattoo to cause an infection in the skin. You clean the skin with a liquid soap called green soap. Wipe the entire area that you will be tattooing, also shave the area if needed. When you have the skin wiped down with green soap just go over it with speed stick deodorant.
