In Act 3, Scene 2, it is clear that both Lady Macbeth and Macbeths character noticeably change, along with their relationship towards each other. In this scene, Macbeth seems to act safely in his every move that he makes, as he regrets killing King Duncan in some ways. Lady Macbeth is very unsatisfied in this scene, as she has no happiness in her life at the moment. Their relationship is only and will only get worse; it is becoming weak, secretive and sinful.
Lady Macbeths character changes drastically in this scene, as she feels very insecure and lost with her life. It seems as if Lady Macbeth and Macbeth change characters, referring back to Act 2, Scene 2, when they plot the murder of Duncan. Her life feels empty, as she says, Noughts had, alls spent. She has nobody to confer with; she is by herself, slowly going mad. Her happiness is also missing, as we understand in scene 2, Act 3. Then by destruction dwell in doubtful joy.
