This blonde walks into a hardware store and asks the guy at the cashier, "Can I buy that microwave?" He replies, "No Im sorry we don't sell to blondes." So she goes home and dyes her hair green. She goes back and asks, " Can I buy that microwave?" "No Im sorry we don't sell to blondes" So she goes home and does the same thing with brunette, red, and blue. The last time she goes in she says "How do you always know who I am?" He replies, "Because thats a T.V." Sound familiar? It would be hard to believe that someone in society has never heard a dumb blonde joke. By definition to be blonde means to have low levels of the dark color pigment and high levels of the pale hair color pigment. How could this possibly affect ones intelligence level? My myth is that of the stereotypical blonde. A combination of historical stereotypes, bad press, and human nature, has made this stereotype one of the most famous (Discriminations and Stereotypes 1). Being a blonde myself, I found this topic exceptionally appealing.
