At 18?!
Should the teenage driving age be raised to 18? This question stirred my curiosity and got me interested in the topic. Why would they change the age now? Whats happening with the teenagers today that would make the law change and give those privileges much later? Did they think how it would affect some teenage drivers?
I will speak from experience; I know that teenage drivers are more prone to distractions. We have the cell phone going off constantly when a new text message comes in, the radio blaring away, and most have what they call lead foot (which means going too fast and over the speed limit. I admit I am guilty of all of these actions and I have learned my lesson. Lucky when I had my accident no one got hurt, except for the car. I popped both tires on the right side of the car. The reason for this you might ask was because I was texting. You could only imagine how scared I was and how stupid I felt.
I believe that the reason why theyre trying to change the law of teenagers being to get their drivers ......
