It is natural for people to make judgments about a person based on their first impression. People tend to judge others based on their personal appearance. A judgment may be expressed as a statement and is usually the outcome of an evaluation of alternatives (Wikipedia, 2009). When someone comes in contact with another human they immediately begin to evaluate one another. External appearances are one of many ways to judge a person but are not the best way to judge ones personality. It is unfair and one-sided to judge people by their exteriors. Although we can get useful information through one's exterior, it is not always accurate. Hence we should evaluate people fairly and take into consideration more than just their physical appearance.
