In this assignment I will review my knowledge and experience about specific aspects of International Terrorism by examining the past 37 months I have spend in Iraq as a section leader as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I will describe at length the deterioration of the situation here in Iraq; from invasion and post-Bathist Government, the beginning of the Iraq insurgency, the capture of Saddam, the constitution of the provisional government and the improvements of tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) on both sides of the conflict. I will cite text based references to support my observations throughout the conflict. I will also describe the backlash of Abu Gharib, the Iraqi national elections and the fall of Falluja. I will also discuss the motivations behind the terrorist groups here in Iraq, the conflicts and corruption and what could possibly be the only solution to the end of the quagmire known as Iraq.
