This story is very unusual because of its characters and morals. It tackles the issue of face value judgement and it questions your expectations and opinions at every corner.
The story began with a mysterious animal called a wub that finds its way onto a spaceship thats taking off from mars. The wub is a wise creature and discusses mythology and other subjects and compares himself to Odysseus. He tries to convince captain Franco not to eat him. In the end the wub is eaten by Captain Franco, therefore Captain Franco inherits the wubs intelligence. Captain Franco then carries on the conversation that was going on between the wub and Peterson.
This story is a good example of judging a book by its cover as the wub, who is the main character, seems to be a helpless, harmless animal but hes also a sly, manipulative, secretive creature. At first were provoked to feel sympathy for him. The wub rolled its eyes mournfully. It gazed around at the men. The wub teases Captain Franco but at the same time he tries to protect himself and stop captain Franco eating him. You spok......
