As years past and our climate changes, the idea of global warming pops into our heads. A leading cause to this idea is the burning of fossil fuels which is what happens when a person drives their car, but happens more in a SUV because they burn fuel quicker then a compact car. In Driving Global Warming by Bill McKibben, he writes of how he believes it is a moral issue to own and drive SUVs. Bill McKibben writes to a Christian based article and references God throughout his article for moral support. Opposing McKibbens article, John Bragg wrote an article named The American Dream: Why Environmentalists Attack the SUV. John Bragg believes the SUV is good because it has its advantages in safety. Bragg writes his article in a libertarian perspective for an audience who supports individual choice.
