Haiti on its own already has some great cultural values. For example the beautiful Carnival, also known as (Mardi Gras) which takes place every year in early february and goes on
until late march. It is a kind of festival where people get together from every parts of the country to celebrate and enjoy life, but mainly the grown-ups tend to dress up in holloween costumes with very ugly masks on their faces to scare away the younger people, which is where the fun parts kicks in. To many people, importing cultural values of the United states to Haiti, would mean that the'd have to get accustomedto it immediately and live their own culture behind in the dust.
There is a good side to importing cultural values of the U.S to haiti, such as trade opportunities. But, losing our own culture and discrimination towards the less fortunates would be the result of importing cultural values of the U.S to Haiti. Trading opportunities with the United States would mean a great deal of happiness to my country. Because in Haiti right now things aren't looking too good on the business side......
