My values are based on my religious belief, which has cultivated my character and moral beliefs. The sources that have cultivated my values are my parents. As a child my parents attend church twice a week; therefore, by attending church they began to cultivate their lives from a Christian perspective. My parents have taught me to show respect to all people and that respect should be return. Giving respect comes from my moral and religious values that are daily reinforced through prayer. The institution that helps shape my values was church. At church, our clergy teaches us to live life with high moral standards through Jesus Christ. The continual teaching of the institution began to cultivate a form of communications that parishioners began to obtain. That communication included to love one another like Christ have loved us. Which means in spite of all the wrong that we do God still shows us love through His grace and mercy; therefore, no matter what people do to you its important to show them love.
