The country musician Johnny Cash, also known as “The Man in Black” is a legend of country music, because he was one of a kind. He didn’t care what anyone thought about him. Even though most people didn’t agree with what he said and done, they still loved his music. As he worked his way up to being a musician and starting a family, his dreams began to slip away as he went through a chain of bad luck. Although Cash’s rebellious country and rock & roll attitude kept him tied to music he was still going down the wrong road and desperately needed help. Cash met a true friend that turned his life and career completely around, and he would soon realize what love at first sight really was. As John Sallman says “Johnny Cash was born in Kingsland, Southern Arkansas on February 26, 1932.” The name on his birth certificate was J.R. because, his parents couldn’t agree on a name.
