In this planet, we are all together. In the book What is the What by Dave Eggers, I cant really relate to Valentinos life; I havent suffered like him. After reading the book, I realize that Im really blessed for having what I have. Unfortunately, there will always be people possessing less. In the book, you notice how theres a couple of people that care about the situation in Sudan. These helpers come as they are but make a big impact in Valentino and others lives. Just making them happy would be enough to give them hope. We really should be accountable for them and everybody who need us.
We can be accountable in millions of ways. From donating money to simply being there to listen. Everybody is responsible for the person right next to him, because how bad would we be if anybody cared about us? I dont think fine. This country has established a structure that takes care of us.
