Disney history of animation Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

There have been many artist's that have used the influence they got from Disney in their own work. The image that persistently keeps popping up in a whole lot of contemporary art, is Mickey Mouse. I wounder if the Mickey Mouse character holds the title for being drawn the most times, by the most artist's. But Disney innovation doesn't stop at animation. There's also storytelling, color and even the directing in animated films of this day run rampant with Disney influence. I think Disney is really trying to pass on the techniques to a new generation of artist. There are so many artist's that have worked with Disney characters that there's a popular belief about the characters not just belonging to Disney anymore, but belonging to everybody. Shrek is a film I think has a whole lot of influence from Disney in it. The film is original enough, but it's going to be difficult to escape the influence Disney has.
