As a kid I remember the great pride that everyone around me had in this country. America was the place to be. This was where you could find a good job with benefits and raise a family with no worries. It also seemed that every company had the same motto, "Made in America". But now that I am an adult, it is something that you rarely see or hear anymore. I can't remember the last time I bought something that didn't have some sort of stamp on it made in saying made in China, Taiwan or anywhere but America. So, I must ask if everything is made everywhere but America, what kind of effect is this going to have on our jobs? I thought America was the place to be, the land of opportunity? But it seems that corporate America has lost its pride in this great country. They are willing to sell our country out to anyone if it means they can save a dollar or two.
