Both Argentina and Brazil was run by caudillo, strongman, or dictators with strong ties to the military like Juan Manuel de Rosas, Juan Peron and Getulio Varga and nacionalismo, a right-wing nationalist movement in Argentine and Brazil right-wing movement called Integralism. Argentina was divided, into three eras. First, Argentina rebelled against Spain in 1810. Second, from 1853 until 1916, expanding economic, large waves of immigration from Europe that change it society and it world position. Third, from 1916 to 1943, Argentines could not established democratic state and a struggling economy. In 1810, Buenos Aires overturns the Spanish government, thus dominating the first seventy years of Argentine history. Also, Buenos Aires dominates trade on the Rio de la Plata, controlling international customhouse, which assured revenue. Between 1821 and 1827 Bernardino Rivadavia (1780-1845) orchestrates a commercial treaty in 1823 that establishes trade with Great Britain.
