"Terpsichorean of the Year" that's what they called me. The word Terpsichore is a Latin word that means delighting in dance. This award is given in my school every year during each graduation day. And on my graduation day, it was given to me. I still remember how my parents would brag about my oldest brother and his talent in dancing. Almost every family event, they would always mention how good he is and that for sure he will get the award by the end of his high school years. On the research they did with middle children in the late 1970's, psychologist say, "middle children usually struggle for parental attention and envy their siblings". These might be true in my case but I did not become non-competitive like other birth order theory stated. And I would say that I'm not a typical middle child either. I have both the traits of an oldest and youngest child. I know it is quiet an interesting combination but it is who I am. I am responsible, a risk taker and goal-oriented.
