In Nichole's biological family Turner Syndrome has occurred in quite a few of the females. Being that Nichole hopes to one day have a baby girl of her own and being pregnant at the moment. She thought it might be good to do her own research on an abnormality that runs in her family. Every normal human being contains forty six chromosomes in their body. Every child inherits twenty three chromosomes from each parent totally forty six. In order for the baby to develop to male he must contain an X and Y chromosome, and for a female to develop normal ovarian she must contain two X chromosomes. When a female is born with only one X chromosome or one X chromosome and one damaged or partially damaged it causes Turner Syndrome.
