Since 1978 America has moved from a modern society to a post-modern world. This has brought about many changes in the way the economy, government, educational system, and even our own family's function on an everyday level. Many of these changes have been accepted as good and proper, while others have been scorned as the collapse of our moral convention. Weather we agree with them or not, each and every one of these changes has affected our views and process of the social democracy we live in. I am going to argue that or democracy, over the past twenty years, has suffered from the strains and become continually weaker to a point where we now live in a farce of freedom.
