Some schools are un-equal and do not shape certain members of our society and their relationship to the workforce in an equal manor. The American dream is to not only graduate college but to have a successful job making a lot of money, have a family, have a home that's paid off and establish economic independence. In order to achieve this dream, all the proper steps must be followed. Step one is to attain a solid foundation of basic education to graduate high school, but what if educational success was un-equal to certain members of our society? The American society that we live in today is capitalistic, meaning that if someone works hard they can have whatever they want, just like the American dream. Although I agree with the economic structure our country follows, I do not believe that schools should be capitalistic as well.
